Our Image Group main manufacturing plant is located in Altoona, PA, however we have offices in other parts of the country. Drugs and Alcohol
Blair does not tolerate drugs and alcohol on the premises, or the use of either while working. We have the following polices in place: Pre-Employment Testing, Post-Accident Testing , Reasonable Suspicion Testing, CDL Driver Testing, Random Screening

Health Insurance
Eligible to join the first day of the month after 60 days of employment. Blair shares cost of premium for family or individual coverage.

Vision Insurance
Eligible to join the first of the month following 60 days of employment. This plan is provided in conjunction with the Health Care Benefits.

 

Dental Insurance

Eligible to join the first of the month following 60 days of employment.  This plan is optional to those who choose to enroll in Blair’s Health Care Benefits.

Life Insurance
Eligible to join the first day of the month after 90 days of employment. Company funded life insurance, with the option to sign up for additional insurance paid for by the employee. Includes spouse and children also.

Flexible Spending Account
Eligible to join the first day of the month after 90 days of employment. Reimburses employees for qualifying healthcare and/or dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Paid Leave
Blair provides Paid Leave to regular, full-time and part-time employees based upon their length of service with the Company. Employees may use accrued Paid Leave for vacation, personal business or time off for a personal health condition in accordance with established policy.

Paid Holidays
Eligible after 90 days of employment. Up to 9 paid holidays for regular, full time and part time employees.

Retirement Plan
Eligible after one year of employment. Employees can contribute up to 15% of salary. Plan includes various, self-directed investment options. Blair matches 1:3 of the first 6% of salary contributed. Eligible to participate after one year of employment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION:  Property Specialist  

LOCATION: Altoona, PA
STATUS:  Regular, Full Time

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:              

  • Manage Tenant/Contractor calls as well as internal relationships:
    • Intake of customer calls and emails and follow up on open projects
    • Assisting and directing negotiations with contractors in the facility current project
    • Evaluating, approving or disapproving contractor’s procedures and techniques.
    • Developing, planning, scheduling and performing system surveys to analyze and evaluate the contractors system for the property.
    • Evaluating recurring issues, trouble shooting and problem solving.
    • Maintaining surveillance over the contractor’s project to assure that the contractor meets the requirements and obligations of each assigned contract.
    • Resolving property administration questions as necessary with the contractor’s management personnel, accounting and other concerned parties.
    • Creating and maintaining a positive working relationship with tenants with bi-weekly face to face meetings.
    • Being available for calls while off duty on weekends and evenings for several properties.
    • Developing a productive relationship with the SMC manager and working together on projects when necessary
  • Maintain Projects and Reporting:
    • Daily, weekly and year to date report; tenant reports weekly or as needed/required.
    • Updating To Do work order and PO
    • Calling and tracking weekly progression of project status
    • Reviewing on-going bids
    • Work with software (property boss) to record and update projects
    • Record time spent and a brief description for each property weekly
  • Staff/Maintenance Tech Management:
    • Oversee Maintenance Technicians with their responsibilities and assigning tasks.
    • Responsible for training, developing and setting goals and parameters.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT DESCRIPTION                                                                  

  • High energy, fast paced, office environment
  • Significant computer and telephone work – working knowledge of basic Microsoft computer programs with specific concentration on Excel and Work
  • Customer service skills required
