Metal Fabricator
DEPARTMENT: Fabrication
LOCATION: 5107 Kissell Avenue, Altoona PA 16601
REPORTS TO: Area Supervisor
POSITION STATUS: Regular, Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt
JOB FUNCTION
Fabricating metal signs. Employee will be able to lay out and cut aluminum extrusion to accurate lengths using Radial Arm and Programmable Elumatec Extrusion Saws. Aluminum MIG welding. Fabricate welded aluminum style letters.

- Daily use of manufacturing software for clocking production hours, referring to the production schedule, etc.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Manufacturing environment - appropriate safety equipment and precautions required such as eye protection, welding helmet, hearing protection, gloves, etc.
- Lifting product up to 50 pounds
- Fast-paced work as needed

- Aluminum Extrusion handling, cutting, and welding
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- Observe all safety rules and policies at all times with materials and tools
- Receive and follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors
- Maintain quality standards as well as time standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including ensuring that bulk materials are appropriately stocked at all times
- Notify Supervisor of any discrepancies on Bills of Material, Bills of Operation, Prints, and Products
- Scheduled overtime as production requires
