REPORTS TO:  Project Manager

POSITION STATUS: Regular, Full Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

 

JOB FUNCTION
Entry level position within the Project Management department to provide overall support.  Will work with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run, and conclude projects.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Initiate job/location info into project management software, following any specific reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Handle entering info to start the approval and shop print process as directed
  • Review and monitor internal and customer provided reports; initiate and maintain accurate records and data entry throughout the life of the project.
  • Read and interpret Blair sign/product prints (landlord and shop levels) - basic level
  • Determine Blair Installation Network (BIN) installers to use for any given area, and be able to utilize databases for contact info.
  • Promptly handle basic installer calls and issues.
  • Answer customer calls and emails promptly and competently when PM is not available.
  • Understand the appropriate escalation contact to flag issues to.
  • Proactive and autonomous follow-up on landlord and permit status/approvals, utilizing both email and phone calls.
  • Nurture relationships with installation partners, generating and communicating purchase orders and answering installation questions in a clear and timely manner.
  • Generate and utilize documents based in Microsoft computer programs, with specific concentration on Excel and Word.
  • Assist in training and ongoing support of fellow employees, promoting Blair values and
    mission.
  • Assist in invoicing and gathering any customer specific documents required.
  • General Administrative Support, including basic office support such as filing and organizing of paper and electronic documents. Periodic reception desk assistance.

  • Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills - To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Excel Spreadsheet software and MS Word software.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - None required.
