Graphic Designer

 

The Graphic Designer will design corporate identification products using conceptual sketches, Corel Draw and Adobe Illustrator.  Job responsibilities will include creating and obtaining approvals for all custom layouts, account setup, production artwork files, communication with vendors and clients, and the ability to read blueprints.  Must be familiar with Corel (Draw/Print), Adobe (Illustrator/Acrobat), Flexi, and Excel.  The desired candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the graphic design field, preferably in a manufacturing setting.

Training

Drugs and Alcohol
Blair does not tolerate drugs and alcohol on the premises, or the use of either while working. We have the following polices in place: Pre-Employment, Post-Accident, Reasonable Suspicion and CDL Driver Testing as well as Random Screening.

Health Insurance
Eligible to join the first day of the month after 60 days of employment. Blair shares cost of premium for family or individual coverage.

Vision Insurance
Eligible to join the first of the month following 60 days of employment. This plan is provided in conjunction with the Health Care Benefits.

Dental Insurance
Eligible to join the first of the month following 60 days of employment. This plan is optional to those who choose to enroll in Blair’s Health Care Benefits.

Life Insurance
Eligible to join the first day of the month after 90 days of employment. Company funded life insurance, with the option to sign up for additional insurance paid for by the employee. Includes spouse and children also.

 

Paid Parental Leave

Employees who qualify for and are granted leave under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for the birth or adoption of a child will be eligible for Paid Parental Leave through the policy of Blair Companies.

Flexible Spending Account
Eligible to join the first day of the month after 90 days of employment. Reimburses employees for qualifying healthcare and/or dependent care expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Paid Leave
Blair provides Paid Leave to regular, full-time and part-time employees based upon their length of service with the Company. Employees may use or save accrued Paid Leave for vacation, personal business or time off for a personal health condition in accordance with established policy.

Paid Holidays
Eligible after 90 days of employment. Includes 9 paid holidays for regular, full time and part time employees.

Retirement Plan
Eligible after one year of employment. Plan includes various, self-directed investment options. Blair matches 1:3 of the first 6% of salary contributed.
