Job Brief

The goal of this position is to insure the operation of Chemcut equipment is performing as sold and specified at customers sites. Our Service department personnel are the face of the company in the customer’s eye and as such will perform in the highest level of professionalism.

Field Service Representative Responsibilities

Undertaking all customer service tasks in external facilities including extensive domestic and international travel required. Operate efficiently to complete all on-site installation, repair, maintenance and test activities. As these systems may contain hazardous chemicals, all required PPE is to be utilized. Familiar with proper chemical handling of various acids and bases is required. A passport or ability to obtain one is required.

Responsibilities

• Undertake all customer support tasks in external facilities
• Operate efficiently to conclude all on site installation, repair, and maintenance and test activities
• Guarantee that the work is performed in a timely manner.
• Perform troubleshooting and strive to resolve issues
• Produce service reports for each service call.
• Operate vehicle in a safely manner and use field automation systems
• Adhere to company’s given rules and regulations
• Team up with colleagues and pass on important information
• Discern customer needs and offer advice or recommendations
• Formulate relationships of trust with customers
• Prepare quotes to modify, rebuild and/or repair installed equipment.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a field service representative
• Ability to manage and preserve technical equipment
• Good knowledge of English language
• Ability to easily acclimate to modified schedules and shifts
• Accustomed to using mobile tools and applications
• Technical degree or certification or documented experience in plumbing, electrical, blue print ready and schematics required. Individual is to be mechanically inclined. For business usage, a vehicle, a Laptop, a cellular phone and company credit card are provided.
